I’m interested in learning more about “Toots Nelson”….temperament, working ability, age,
health, etc. I’m quite familar with many of Betty’s dogs. In 2007 I even bred my bitch to
a dog from her last litter….”Tag”…who was adopted by MRE Farm…. I’m also interested in some of the old Woods dogs.
Could you send me pedigrees of your dogs, especially Toots.
I have met Terri Daniels dog from you. Nice boy.
Thanks,
Hi, thanks for note. Terri’s dog is out of our Nibbly, mom to our current Tucker. I kept a littermate from that litter and enjoyed her; we tried to carry on that cross three times but I sold the only pup (to a pet home) who I really thought was one I should have gone on with, after it was all said and done. Breeding dogs is not a gentle hobby, as they say, it is quite complicated usually, LOL! Toots actually came into our lives about the same time as the cross was made for Terri’s dog. Several were trying to maintain these strains that are good old fashioned aussies and not common in the popular show strains. I hope that our efforts continue. Toots is very typical; she is the dark red tricolor in our cover page album of dogs. She has an intelligent independent way of thinking and as to working style, rather loose and pushy, wants to get in there and get things moving, not so much flanking ability but I’m sure would have steadied up nicely with the right combination of trainer/dog. I never put her in training. She reminded me a lot of the Kel-Mar Dog I had, Rippin Ruby; type being similar….small, shorter tighter hair coat, gamin face. Loyal and loveable.
My wife and I are extremely interested in two of your new puppies and would like to know if one is still available. One would be the female with the black spot on the inside of her left eye and the other would be the Merle male. We were referred to you by owners of your dogs that live here in SE Wisconsin. We will provide a loving home on three acres in the country. We would like to visit first before deciding on which puppy.
Thanks,
George Fennell
Thank you so much for considering our litter! At this time still I have not received any reservations for these nice puppies, so I am completely open to having you come down and see them in person so that you can have first choice! Sadly, since I am not planning to stay active in the coming years with breeding my family of dogs, I am not planning to keep any of this nice litter and they are well worth consideration for prospects but I am always happy to find wonderful homes for my puppies where they will have a life-long home. And having two puppies to play with each other and get thru the chewing stage is always worth considering if you are able to do it, LOL! Please give me a call, 309-594-2318
Hi, Dan, I had thought I replied to you but checking here today, I might have missed this. I do still have two blue merle females available, I have not been working very hard on placing them, LOL. Nice litter, it’s fun to see them growing.

Are all the puppies spoken for? If not please inform me of who is available. Where are you located? I live in southern Wisconsin. Thank you
